Private residential playgrounds aren't legally bound by it, but it remains a reliable benchmark for safe installation.

How do I know whether my playground needs a full replacement or just a top-up?

Compacted, contaminated, or debris-filled sand has usually lost its impact-absorbing properties and needs replacing rather than topping up. A site inspection is the most reliable way to determine which is needed, we'll assess and advise before anything is quoted.

Can the installation be completed without closing the playground for multiple days?
